Phased treatment plans
TMPlanner programs are planned ahead as phases, and every phase change is approved by the treating clinician.
A plan, not a snapshot
Physiotherapy progresses in phases. Set them all in the consult, then approve each move when your patient is ready. The program is built ahead as phases, and each phase has its own doses.
Your patient sees their plan by phase and week in the app.
Approve in one click, the program moves
When your patient is ready for the next phase, they can ask about progressing from the app. A request from the patient app changes nothing on its own. It appears in Approvals, where you approve, hold, decline or adjust. Approve it, and your patient's program is on the next phase. Moving a patient to the next phase is one approval, not a hand rebuild of the program.
How a plan changes
| Move to the next phase | A progression request arrives and you approve it. Progression is the only thing that advances a phase, and it is always yours to approve. |
|---|---|
| Move a phase back | You can move the current phase back one step from the console. It goes through the same audited approval path as an advance, and a patient request can never trigger it. |
| Step back to an easier exercise level | Only inside bounds you set in advance. It never moves a phase. You are told when a patient uses it and can undo it. |
Set the bounds in advance
A patient having a rough week does not have to wait until Thursday. You set the bounds in advance, you are notified when they are used, and you can undo it. Regression is off by default. If you turn it on, it is limited to steps you pre-approved.
Questions clinics ask
Can a patient change their own program?
No. A patient can ask about progressing, and the request lands in your approvals list without changing anything. Every phase change is reviewed and approved by the treating clinician.
How long does it take to build a program?
Usually a few minutes. Pick exercises from the video library or start from one of your clinic's templates, set the doses and phases on one screen, and send it to your patient.
